The cycle is broken.
The day I bought The Sims 3, I made a Sim named Ben. Three years later, all of his descendants have pretty much his exact same face -- except one. Last week, his oldest daughter shared a drunken night with her little sister's husband and made Aidan, the first child of this family to not look like Ben. Me happy! (But her little sister is not.)

Congrats on the new genes! I hate it when the genetic diversity seems to stutter for a while.
ReplyDeleteThanks, MaulRat! Yeah, it gets pretty ridiculous after a while. But then, for some of my Sims, I don't mind that they didn't inherit genes from the other parent. >_> lol
